  • IRON FILTER – Iron occurs naturally in ground water. As little as 0.3 ppm of iron is sufficient to stain clothing and fixtures. Filters include “Birm” & “Organic Scavenger Anion Resin”. Bacterial iron is removed with the addition of chlorine followed by mechanical filtration.

  • TASTE & ODOR FILTERS – Chlorine & other contaminants can be the source of bad tastes & odors. Granular Activated Carbon filters are effective in removing these.

  • IRON, HYDROGEN SULFIDE & MANGANESE DIOXIDE FILTERS – Manganese dioxide filters, & Pyrolox filters are effective in removing these from water through oxidation & mechanical filtration.

  • ACID NEUTRALIZING FILTERS – Acid bearing water can be extremely corrosive & expensive to plumbing & water-using appliances, even dishes & china.
